Your role as Senior Exploration Geologist will be based in
Perth WA. The company is a junior mining explorer committed to developing strategic mining exploration and project opportunities in iron ore and gold
You will be a highly motivated exploration geologist at senior level and have 5+ years exploration experience in multiple commodities with a preference in
Iron Ore. Your geology degree and considerable proven industry experience will have provided you with the knowledge of planning and managing field based programs. In your role of senior exploration geologist, you will also have an understanding of community and heritage issues that are associated with field work. You will fit the dynamic of the team by applying a mature approach in addition to strong influencing skills. As a team player, you will utilise your strong communications skill in conveying an unwavering commitment to safety.
Your key projects / responsibilities as a senior exploration geologist within this mining role will include:
Day to day management of the project including the budget & schedule Ensuring that approvals are in place Liaising with the local indigenous communities Designing, implementing and supervising drilling programs High level technical review of geological data Ensuring the highest levels of HSEC in the filed Field supervision of drill programs
