Job Description
Due to expansion within the region, our client is seeking to employ a Senior Estimator to be based in their Glasgow (North) office.
You will coordinate with the other technical services departments, clients, consultants, quantity surveyors and third parties in regards to the completion of your duties and the organisation of appropriate tender enquiries. You will supervise the tender submission, and collect and distribute feedback. As a senior member of the Estimating Team, you will also be responsible for cost effective and alternative solutions to tenders, and will oversee data entry on to estimating software.
You will also be responsible for the mentoring, development and training of junior members of the team, and will play a role in staff appraisals and reviews.
You will have a strong background in estimating, gained in the construction filed, ideally with considerable civil engineering experience and of having priced a variety of differing works.
