Senior Estimator job
My client is a very well respected Main Contractor that deals with new build and refurbishment projects from £1-25million within the Northern Home Counties and North London. They are a general contractor that is very risk adverse; therefore have much guaranteed work with framework agreements. Over 70% of their work is procured on a D&B basis.
They are seeking to appoint another Senior Estimator to join their existing team. This team currently consists of two Senior Estimators and a Trainee Estimator that report into the Estimating Manager. The ideal candidate should be able to work self sufficiently and have experience with another main contractor. You must be able to demonstrate experience in the following fields;
* Completed take offs from the drawings * Go to the market to gain confirmation of the take off figure * When sub-contract bids were been received he working with the Contracts Manager to put the bid together. * The information reported includes Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Profit Planning, Alternatives and Value Engineering.
