Job Description
You will be joining an established EIA team within Environment Team in the Cardiff Office and you would be working with a wider range of specialists throughout our client's office network undertaking environmental assessments to produce environmental reports, management plans and statements.
The principal function of this position is to manage environmental assessment projects, including bids, feasibility studies & associated work. The role requires the candidate to manage and contribute to the content and production of environmental reports, including Environmental Statements, for a range of clients in a variety of markets, including: highways, flood defence, ports and property. The priorities of this role include: responsibility for the preparation of various aspects of environmental assessment work on a range of projects, including research, survey work and report writing; managing workloads and related tasks to meet prescribed timescales and budgets; maintaining good working relationships with internal & external clients; developing relationships with Halcrow's Environment Team; developing & maintaining a level of professional expertise by attending appropriate training & seminars to aid Continual Professional Development; and budgeting and financial control of projects.
