My client is currently interested to hear from senior planning professionals who have developed a specialism in retail and town centre development, preferably with experience of the preparation of quantitative retail capacity and impact assessments.
You will take considerable responsibility for co-ordinating multi-disciplinary teams working with leading retailers, developers and investment institutions as well as local planning authorities. You will be expected to contribute to managing a team of staff and developing the careers of individuals within it.
You will be:
o MRTPI and/or MRICS planning and development qualified with private consultancy experience. o Able to demonstrate excellent communication, written and analytical skills o Able to manage a demanding and stimulating workload o Experienced in town centre development and different types of retail development, with a thorough understanding of retail policy issues and quantitative analysis. o A proven ability to identify and win new business would be an advantage.
