Job Description
Senior Architect - Newcastle upon Tyne
Our client is looking for a Senior Architect to work in their Practice in Newcastle. They have recently secured a multimillion pound programme to design and build a variety of structures surrounding the Tyne Tunnel and also have the second phase of a huge educational project. Working closely with an Associate Architect. You will be expected to deliver client's expectations, taking into account context, client preference, planning constraints and budgets up to £30M in value. You will also lead and coordinate project teams on site, in building contracts. You need to be a good communicator, confident of dealing with wide range of clients and consultants, with the ability to deal with complete working drawing packages up to tender, including statutory requirements, NBS, prelims and contract documentation. You will be design conscious, technically highly proficient and hands on. Ideally you will be RIBA/ARB qualified and will have passion for working in a commercial environment.
