Job Description
Our client is a global provider of services and specialist equipment to the rail industry supplying transport infrastructure and signalling and rolling stock. They are seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join there team in North West London.
Main duties include
" You will be reporting directly to the Project Managers responsible for works on the Northern and Jubilee Lines, the Project Quantity Surveyor will ensure that costs on the projects are accurately recorded and documented. " You will prepare accurate cost predictions on a period by period basis and make records available and manage the validation and query process with the Customer " Prepare accurate valuation forecasts based upon progress and programme constraints " Liaise and promote full co-operation with other departments as appropriate " Participate in resolving issues with the Customer, suppliers and sub-contractors " Develop, document and implement best practice cost capture processes for labour and materials on the project and associated work packages
There is an element of travel involved (within London) as some of the sites will need close attention. You will have a Finance administrator and a Labour administrator reporting into you.
