A leading environmental and engineering consulting firm with more than 300 offices in key cities around the world is currently seeking a project modeller for their water department in the Perth office. You will become part of a team consisting of the finest scientists, engineers, planners, and project managers and work on large and varied projects ranging from the resource industry through to state government major water infrastructure upgrades. The appropriate candidate for the position of project modeller must have a tertiary level qualification in engineering or science with a focus on hydrology, surface water resources and catchments characterisation. Demonstrated experience in Occupational Health and Safety, Hydrological data collation and analysis, Hydrological modelling, stream flow and catchments experience as well as previous Project Management experience will all be essential to the success of this role. Desirably you will have a minimum of 3 years experience working in multi-disciplinary project teams on surface water, catchments management, water engineering or environmental impact assessment projects. Experience with graphics and GIS software will be favourably considered. The successful candidate must be able to write technical reports. This is a rare opportunity with a market leader.
