Job Description
EMPLOYMENT PROFILE Project Manager
PURPOSE · To lead and develop teams, with our suppliers to deliver our customers aims and objectives.
GOALS
· To communicate clearly and concisely to all parties the main aims and objectives of the project ensuring their full support. · To develop ongoing relationships with all the key stakeholders · To promote high standards across the site including Health and Safety, Hoardings, Site Accommodation, Cleanliness etc. · To achieve the agreed financial targets at the start of the project. · To develop their people, ensuring their personal and the business objectives are met. · To plan everything we do.
TASKS
Pre-Contract
· Lead / Manage the Tender/ Negotiation Process to ensure we clearly understand the client brief or assist the client in developing the brief. · Involve the key stakeholders, to ensure ownership is gained at an early stage by holding project Workshops.
Contract
· To provide clear objectives and roles/responsibility for the Team. · To attend all Client Project Meetings. · To regularly review project gaols including , programme, cost, quality , customer satisfaction etc, and take appropriate action. · To ensure the Health and Safety Plan is produced. · To ensure all the company procedures are followed by the site team. · To support / lead / coach site team members in their development and ensure there Monthly Action Plans. · To continue to support the site team in their understanding, development and implementation of the Construction and Short Term Working Programmes by giving advice and an overview of the project.
Post Contract
· To ensure the learning is transferred from project to project. · To ensure the Team completes any outstanding works or snags to the client's satisfaction. · To ensure information for Health and Safety File is produced within 2 weeks of Practical Completion.
