Job Description
A new opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to manage a number of new build & refurbed secondary schools a function of the Local Education Partnership in Sheffield.
Working within the Facilities Management division you will be responsible for managing project teams and their resources in order to ensure quality, client satisfaction and success of the business plan.
Responsibilities: - Establish arrangements and procedures to maximise returns on all new work/opportunities in terms of margin and/or shareholder value. - Provide strategic and general commercial advice and guidance to project delivery teams (e.g. applications, valuations, invoicing, claims formulation, cost value) - Manage prompt close out of contracts and financial recovery. - Demonstrate extensive knowledge and be able to capitalise on funding markets and operations. - Manage the preparation and settlement of final accounts, including variations, claims and disputes in order to maximise returns.
The ideal candidate will be from an operational background with extensive experience in managing PFI contracts.
For this role you will need to possess good communication, negotiation determination and assertiveness.
You will have a positive attitude at all times, be able to make difficult decisions and have the experience of project managing a successful team.
