The Company¿s owners and management have invested in more than 60 property transactions over the past 12 years, encompassing large mixed use / multi-tenanted development schemes and residential refurbishments in the UK as well as Europe. Having established strong financial backing with a solid portfolio our client continues to drive business forward with more recent wide scale and demanding projects in South Africa and Uruguay.
Job Description  
A busy property development company in London is looking for a construction project manager to assist with its expansion programme in the South West of London. Average construction contract sum ranging from £800,000 - £2,5mn. Managing multiple projects to the approximate value of £10m you will require technical construction experience together with the ability to successfully manage a fresh and vibrant project team and ensure that projects are delivered safely on time to stated quality at minimum cost.
Implementing your management plan, you will have the experience and determination to create team spirit and develop staff whilst ensuring smooth running sites.This opportunity is an excellent chance for someone to get involved with a progressive company whose fresh outlook and future plans promise long term career prospects.
Duties:
1.Project manage each site on a day to day basis
2.Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors ensuring continuous activity on site
3.Order plant/services/products as required for use on site. Source and spec items for installation
Liaise with suppliers and order
4.Prepare and implement programmes
5.Prepare work schedules for each element of the build and get them priced
6.Work with the QS to put together budgets
7.Prepare letters of engagement, appointment contracts, building contracts and warranties as required
8.Work with the QS to put together budgets. Then coordinate with them to ensure they are maintained. Update budgets to reflect changes to build if necessary
9.Arrange payments for project as necessary
10.Liaise with all professionals assigned to each project to ensure the necessary paperwork is produced for occupation ie. testing certicates, building control sign off, owners manual, electrical drawings, lease plans etc, commissioning certificates etc.
11.Update financial models to reflect changes to build
12.Produce monthly reports
13.Liaise with Planning Supervisor throughout the construction process
