Job Description
A highly motivated and experienced Product Manager is required to join a successful sales team. The ideal candidate will be from a Technical or Business background within Architecture and have a proven history of success within Sales & Marketing. The role will involve working as part of a successful Sales team reporting directly to the Group Sales director. A number of duties are encompassed within the job including the Co-ordination of sales, Marketing, Production and Product Development activities as well as ensuring that the company meet its Market objectives on a short and long term basis. The right person will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work well as part of a team and on an individual basis. The role will require you to be extremely flexible in your working and have a good level of computer literacy. Experience in implementing Quality control procedures is preferred but not essential.
KEY TASKS:
" Plan and investigate dealer / agent network. " Co-ordinate Sales support activities which involve progressing orders from contact, order processing, delivery, feedback and where necessary satisfactory conclusion of customer complaints. " Co-ordinate Marketing activities, which involve collating and report on all market intelligence, with particular reference to competitor's activities - their product performance and prices, service and quality. " Co-ordinate Product Development activities, which involve research into new materials and processes. " Visit customers to secure new business and receive feedback. " To liaise with the marketing department in the development of websites and sales literature. " To attend exhibitions or product launches and liaise with the marketing department in the organisation.
It is expected within the first year that the right person will achieve or exceed the brands sales budget , establish an active international dealer and agent network and ensure that a professional service is provided.
