Job Description
The Vacancy:
My client, a very prestigious and well known contractor now requires a capable and assertive Pre construction project manager. You will have worked on projects previously, valued between £5 and £30million. The sectors my client does work within are Local Authorities, Education, Health, Leisure & Fitness, National Government, Food Retail and hotels. An HNC/HND is a minimum requirement along with ideally being MCIOB or MAPM.
Your key responsibilities will be to :
" Implement, control and operate the WDC Project Management System process " Secure commissions aligned with strategic plan " Become an integral part of the clients team " Ensure profitable construction workload through PMS commissions
Along with the core responsibilities you will need to have these skill set's below :
" Ability to produce accurate prime costings " Able to maintain cost data " Ability to co-ordinate the tender process " Ability to develop relationships with design consultants, clients, project managers, subcontractors and suppliers " Able to identify areas of risk and opportunity " Good knowledge of market place and competitors
