Job Description
Permanent Way Site Engineer needed to carry out the day to day tasks on a major project within London.
In this role your key duties will involve:
- Site setting out. - Liaising with other site staff and operatives. - Carrying out short term planning. - Up keep of site records and documents - Monitoring safety. - Inputting into risk assessments and method statements. - Supervision of designated staff and personnel. - Interpret technical drawings.
You will also have:
- An understanding of technical drawings - Setting out skills - Understanding of material sampling and testing specifications - Permanent way skills such as tamping, hand back checks and stressing. - Good IT skills - Knowledge of excavation methods.
