Job Description
Earthworks - Classification and optimisation of proposed use. Concrete - Ensure correct/appropriate specification to suppliers. If site batching; provide mix designs, undertake plant trials, monitor test data during production to confirm compliance with the specification, justify appropriate methods for early formwork striking and instigate. Demolition & Processing and/or Quarrying - Quantify appropriate process to maximise potential yield and re-use of ¿waste¿ or quarry product. Quantify potential cost savings. Pavement Design - Provide innovative or alternative solutions, thus, cost savings. Testing - Manage sub-contracted testing Adherence to Skanska policies and procedures Identify opportunities for re-use of materials to achieve cost savings and/or sustainability. Provide advice on borrow-pits & tips Ad hoc duties as job requires
