Job Description
An opportunity has arisen with one of our reputable clients for a materials engineer based in Warrington, Cheshire. My client continues to push to the forefront of construction materials testing with numerous testing facilities nationally.
As Materials Engineer you will be responsible for laboratory safety, ensuring all testing is carried out in accordance with site requirements and complying with the NAMAS quality system. Other responsibilities will include-
- Maintaining training records - Allocate time as required by the laboratory manager - Maintaining a good working environment in the laboratory - Carry out equipment calibrations and check maintenance of equipment - Maintaining weather records - Pass on best practice to laboratory manager
