A Managing Quantity Surveyor is required by our client who is one of the UK's leading road management and maintenance providers. They have experience of all aspects of motorway maintenance..
Remuneration: Up to £45,000 per annum depending upon experience BUPA Car/car allowance Pension scheme
The role: The successful candidate will be based in Glasgow and will be working on a £4m roads maintenance project. You will be financially responsible for this project and will be assisted by a trainee QS.
In this role you will be responsible for all sub contractor payments and will be required to attend weekly forecast meetings with the regional director.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years Quantity Surveying experience; Previous experience within the highways/roads sector is preferable however our client will consider applicant from a strong civil's background; NEC contract experience is essential for this role; A BSc would be a distinct advantage for any candidate wanting to apply for this particular vacancy.
