Job Description
Maintenance Manager
Our client's ability to adapt quickly to fresh challenges has attracted some of the most talented professionals in the Facilities Management business. With a great reputation in the industry and working within a busy environment, our client is currently seeking to add another addition to their team and recruit a Maintenance Manager to be based in Bromley. The main purpose of the role is to provide a full and comprehensive maintenance service to the site. This is a hands on role and the Maintenance Manager will be responsible for assisting the maintenance manager in the day to day running and organising of directly employed staff and external contractors to ensure that they are directed, co-ordinated and controlled to deliver fast, efficient, high quality and a cost effective service.
Key Accountabilities: *Manage the day to day running of mechanical and electrical maintenance team *Deputise for Senior Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisors as necessary *Manage a full range of routine planned preventative maintenance, condition monitoring, reactive maintenance and breakdown maintenance work *Ensure that all works are carried out to a high standard causing least disruption to building users *Participate in the procurement and management of external contractors/ suppliers and designers *Manage the replacement of components and systems as part of the life cycle obligations *Carry out risk assessments and produce method statements as required
Essentials: *Technical qualification in Mechanical or Electrical (or equivalent) *Man management experience *Ability to communicate with staff at all levels
