Job Description
Our clients Landscape Practice employs an experienced team of chartered Landscape Architects based throughout the UK and is registered with the Landscape Institute. They are engaged in all areas of landscape work, including design, assessment and contract implementation. It maintains a wide range of landscape projects, mainly within the business sectors of Waste Management, Minerals, Contaminated Land Remediation, Residential and Commercial Development, Recreation and Leisure, Industrial Developments, and Renewable Energy.
They are interested in Landscape Architects both Part III and Chartered to work within their dedicated and hard working team. Our client¿s workload consists of major new landscape architecture, urban design and masterplanning projects from their offices throughout the UK. Our client has an established reputation for excellence in urban and landscape design, as well as computer imaging and virtual reality and has implemented award winning landscape schemes.
Our client has assessed and contributed to masterplanning for a wide range of commercial, residential and mixed use development. Recent schemes have included the assessment and design of urban extensions and mixed use developments within sensitive landscape settings.
In the leisure sector, they have produced masterplan designs and detailed assessments for a wide range of sporting facilities including new and extended golf courses, watersports facilities, cricket pitches, football pitches and bowling greens. In addition, they have been involved with the detailed design of sports and amenity facilities associated with new and existing schools in the UK and overseas.
Our client is acknowledged as one of the market leaders in the design and assessment of restoration schemes for quarries and landfills. As a result, they have recently drafted the new technical guidance on the capping and restoration of landfills on behalf of the Environment Agency.
