Job Description
Blue Circle Southern Cement operates a minerals business in the Southern Highlands of NSW and requires the services of an experienced Health and Safety Advisor. Working across two sites you will ultimately be responsible for providing professional OHS support, guidance and advice to all employees at all levels. You will be required to maintain high standards of safety by implementing new procedures and be proactive in areas such as awareness programs. To be successful for this position, you will be highly motivated in delivering practical and outcomes based solutions to key areas of focus. You will require an open approach to communicating with all levels of employees and able to demonstrate the following: ? Ability to work independently ? Good level of computer literacy ? Experience in work rehabilitation and pro-active injury management ? Understanding of OHS legislative requirement ? Experience in a heavy industry environment ?
