Job Description
Our client, embracing all aspects of highways and bridge design, are currently looking for a Materials Engineer to join their Pavement engineering team based in Birmingham.
This team, within the Highways Asset Management Group of the company is charged with all aspects for pavement design and maintenance.
The role of materials engineer within this sector will carry the responsibilities of-
Providing materials advise for internal and external clients. Preparing materials specifications. Working alongside our pavement designers to deliver innovative new build and maintenance solutions. Represent the client on industry committees/ working groups. Training schemes for Superagencies and Local Authority clients.
With sufficient experience of pavement materials to UK standards and ideally qualified to degree standard you will work in a confident and professional manner. With the ability to show initiative and ability to communicate thoroughly and clearly you will have the ability to work well as part of a team.
