Job Description
Our client is looking for a Highway/Traffic Engineer to work by the Beach on a range of interesting and high profile projects.
Our client is looking for a senior professional to deliver a range of work for Cornwall County Council. Primarily, this will see you focusing on the CPR Highway scheme - a key piece of infrastructure for the local regeneration of Cambourne, Pool and Redruth. Taking charge of your own section of the route, you'll direct a team of engineers and technicians. It'll be up to you to lead the project through the planning application stage as well as overseeing the production of detailed designs ready for construction.
You will be a skilled engineer with experience of designing highway improvements using 3D design packages, MX would be desirable. You'll also have excellent client-facing skills and the ability to guide engineers and technicians. In addition, familiarity with current highway design standards is essential, as is knowledge of contracts, Health & Safety and CDM regulations. On top of that, you'll be proficient in the use of AutoCAD.
