Job Description
Our client is looking for an Environmental Engineer with previous experience working for a Building Services Consultancy. Duties to include:
Supporting other design groups within the company with renewable energy design integration and energy saving solutions for their projects. Carrying out renewable and low carbon energy feasibility studies, Carbon saving calculations and payback periods. Attending client meeting to present findings. Carrying out Part L2A compliance calculations, dynamic thermal modelling and Energy Performance Certificates for non domestic buildings.
You will also be a CIBSE Low Carbon Consultant in both design and simulation using IES, and be an accredited EPC assessor to levels 3,4,5. They should have an in depth knowledge of Building regulations Part L and knowledge of renewable and carbon saving technologies .Experience in BREEAM, and code for sustainable homes assessments would be an advantage as well as experience and knowledge of Display Energy Certificate (DEC) and SAP calculations.
