Job Description
Due to a continued growth our client requires a Project Manager who will be responsible for the successful delivery of complex projects via the management of external professional teams engaged on the management of the pre-planning and implementation phases of mixed-use residential developments for major UK clients in the excess of 4000 dwellings.
Experience:
The candidate will need to be familiar with and have a working knowledge of the overall residential development and procurement process including:
* The planning of major mixed-use residential developments * National & Local Authority Planning processes * The planning application process including the coordination of professional teams preparing the supporting documentation * The negotiation of section 106 agreements with planning authorities leading to the release of planning consent * The implementation of the development pursuant to the planning consent * The coordination of a professional team to discharge the planning conditions * The discharge of planning conditions * The coordination of the professional teams preparing reserved matters application * Familiarity with sustainability applicable to residential developments * The design of civil engineering infrastructure works SUDs, foulwater drainage etc * Geotechnical issues * The preparation of documents for the appointment of the professional team consisting of urban designers, master planners, planners, civil engineers, landscape architects, ecologists, cost consultants and environmentalists. * The pre-qualification of infrastructure contractors * The preparation of tender documentation for the procurement of the infrastructure works and the tender process * Post tender negotiations * Preparation of contract documents * A knowledge of ICE Forms of Contract and ACE Agreements * The contract administration of infrastructure contracts * The preparations of the programmes rela
