This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute structural engineer to join at associate level, to work closely with project and associate directors. Responsibility for managing all aspects of projects to ensure delivery, client satisfaction, profitability and quality. Track record both in designing for a variety of materials and structural types, and in motivating and leading professional teams is a must.
Our national award winning client is looking to expand their business into the Yorkshire region and is looking to employ some of the local talent who are looking for a new and rewarding challenge. Recently decorated the company has been awarded the 'Queens award for enterprise 2006' and the 'Sustainable designer of the year award 2006'.
Coupled with their commercial success they have been listed on 'The Times top 100 hundred companies to work for 2006' for their commitment to developing the individual not just the bottom line.
Their structural design process is rigorous and involves exploration from first principles and establishing the logic and concept through to optimizing the performance of frame, foundations and façades, improving details and evaluating the use of materials and energy.
The power of 3D modelling and ability to introduce early contributions from their fire engineering, geotechnics, façades, services and sustainability groups enables them to identify structural choices and evaluate risk.
