Job Description
Due to an increasing workload and restructuring of the C&S team our top class multi disciplinary client wishes to recruit a senior member of staff to help deliver an excellent service to their Clients & enhance their reputation as one of the leading structural engineering businesses in the country. The building structures team currently has a 35 strong team and works closely with other specialist engineering teams to deliver multi-disciplinary projects.
The Leeds office is involved in a variety of projects including high rise buildings, private & public sectors, new build & refurbishment, commercial, retail, residential, health & education. The successful applicant will provide direct support to the Team Leaders and the Centre Head.
Preferred Qualifications/Education BEng or MEng degree in relevant engineering discipline and ideally you will have achieved incorporated or chartered status or at least be working towards it. You will require the skill and confidence in your abilities to accurately engineer projects and provide technical advice to Junior members of the team.
The successful candidate will have excellent inter-personal skills, with good leadership and management abilities capable of communicating effectively. The appointee will be expected to demonstrate an appreciation and delivery of excellence in structural design and in presenting this in a commercial manner to their clients.
