Position: Site Agent (Rail)
Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Our client, a large construction contractors within the Rail sector is currently looking to hire a Site Agent on a permanent basis, where you will work on a key project at Oxford Station, delivering works to expand the station's capacity to accommodate additional services scheduled for 2024. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the project meets all technical requirements outlined in the design specification and is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Daily duties may include but are not limited to:
• Lead a significant section of the project as the Site Agent.
• Take full ownership and accountability for managing project costs, including Target Cost, actual costs, and forecasts, through commercial awareness.
• Develop and monitor a programme to track daily activities and medium-term plans against the contract programme.
• Promote and enforce Health & Safety policies and procedures in accordance with Kier and Network Rail standards.
• Foster a collaborative and cohesive team by integrating with other project team members and developing team members.

Candidates will ideally:
We are looking for an Agent who meets the following criteria:
• Relevant qualifications, such as a degree or equivalent experience.
• Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or actively working towards it.
• Proven experience working on Network Rail projects or in a similar setting.
• Strong ability to identify project requirements and drive the team to deliver outcomes in terms of quality, cost, and programme.
